Adopt-A-Match Cars For Kids' Sake |
Adopt a Match is a means of helping to financially support a Big Brother or Big Sister match. The direct cost of creating and supporting a one-to-one match is $1,000 a year.
Costs include:- Volunteer recruitment, screening, placement and orientation by BBBS Staff
- Sexual abuse prevention training for parents, volunteers and children
- Individual case planning, match monitoring and support
- Recreational activities for the matches
- Volunteer support group and training
- Tutoring and summer camps
- For a fully tax-deductible gift of $1,000, sponsors will:
- Fund one match on an annual basis from its inception
- Receive a personalized framed picture of the match
- Receive a progress report of the match, as well as the BBBS annual report and newsletters
- Meet their adopted match at an agency sponsored event, if desired
- Have the satisfaction of knowing they have changed a pair of lives for the better
Individuals, organizations and groups of donors are all eligible to Adopt-A-Match. Payments may be made in a lump sum, quarterly or in ten installments.
