Matt Donegan became a Big Brother in 2000, and joined the BBBS-NW Board of Directors in 2006. He is co-founder and co-president of Forest Capital Partners, one of the nation's largest investors in sustainably managed working forests. In addition to Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest, Matt serves on the boards of the National Alliance of Forest Owners, Sustainable Forestry Initiative, Oregon Business Council, Oregon Forest Resources Institute, Oregon Innovation Council, and on the National Council of the National Park Conservation Association. In 2008 he was appointed by Governor Ted Kulongoski to the Oregon Global Warming Commission.
