Chief Development Officer
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as the lead strategist for agency fund development, helping the chief executive officer and leadership team blend a multi-year revenue plan with the agency's growth agenda. The CDO wil manage the fund development team and is the agency's principal major gift fundraiser. As a member of the leadership team, this position is responsible for helping shape global agency strategy and for playing a leadership role in implementing the agency's operating plan.

Responsibilities:
• Set and achieve, in close collaboration with CEO, multi-year and annual revenue goals
• Develop and implement a written plan for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual, foundation, and corporate donors
• Personally manage a portfolio of prospective donors
• Recruit, hire, train and manage staff for performance and retention
• Staff the fund development department
• Stay abreast of organization-wide issues; contribute to the development and achievement of the long-term vision and short-term operating plans
  
  Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years progressively responsible experience in fund development
• Sucessful management experience with at least 2 direct reports
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
  
  Compensation:
