How to HelpJust for MatchesSuccess StoriesFAQsCareer Opportunities

Big Brothers Big Sisters Northwest helps the youth of Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington achieve their potential so that they may live productive and healthy lives. To achieve this goal, our agency matches a young person (aged 6 to 16) with a volunteer. The child and volunteer get together three times a month for at least one year.

Volunteers serve as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Big Couples, Big Families, Bigs in Schools and Big Teens. Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest is currently campaigning to double the number of youth who are matched with a Big Brother or Sister. There are already over 1,400 children matched in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington.
